A Knife is Conceptualized

  • Overall Length: 8",
  • Blade length 3.75" with 3.5" sharpened.
  • Handle Scale Thickness: scales are 1/4" thick each, giving the grip a thickness of 5/8"
  • Sheath Options: multi-position kydex sheath available, as well as a leather pouch style sheath from Treestump Leather.
If a customer wants something different, custom orders for each will also be accepted.

The scales will be replaceable/interchangeable with brass fasteners. We're also loffering laser engraving both patterns and pictures on the grips as an option.

Price... Standard model, $200.00. Custom jobs, the sky is the limit. These will also come with a Lifetime Warranty. Your knife will be covered as long as it is only used for cutting materials a knife is designed to cut!

Step 1: A Knife Blank is Sculpted

A Blank is crafted and heat treated to test style, strength, and to get a real world feel for use.

Now the pictures. Here's the very first prototype just out of the kiln:

Step 2: Scales/Handles are Fitted

The Options are fitted and the look and use of the knife is tested.

Grips for the prototype are done, get the blade polished up, and put it all together.

Grips are 1/4" thick each, giving the grip a thickness of 5/8".
You can see from the pictures how the knife can be taken apart to clean or replace/interchange the grips. There will be at least 4 different grips available. If a customer decides later on that they want something laser etched on their grips, they can be removed and sent to us for the work.

To maximize edge holding ability and toughness, the blades will be hardened, snap tempered, and cryo-treated. We're still waiting on the artwork for the maker's mark.

Step 3: Sheaths are Fitted-Kydex

Kydex Sheaths are fitted the the prototype to get the look and feel down for both Belt Loop and Tek-lok.
This sheath can be worn right side or left, horizontal or vertical, or inside the waistband. Shown below are Front, Belt Loop Back and Large Tek-Lok Back (small Tek-Lok are also going to be available)

Step 4: Upgraded Grips - Laser Engraving

We are working with several local Laser Engravers to provide this service to you. We think its a very nice addition to your custom knife. We have many images to choose from, or create your own image! There is literally no limit to the amount of clip art available. The grips can hold up to two lines of text, up to twenty characters. Prices start at $15.00

A customer can supply their own art (must be a bitmap or jpeg) and have it engraved on their grips starting at $15.00! Here's a few we did for an example.
